Greg “Pnut” Galinsky, a longtime resident of the SF Bay Area, was born and raised in Santa Monica, California. The diverse influence of his family (his mother from Burma, his father from Lithuania) and childhood growing up in Southern California, fostered his self expression and creativity. From an early age, Galinsky was influenced by skateboarding, surfing, and living near the ocean. In his formative years, he was inspired by the cutting edge innovations of punk, soul, jazz, & hip hop. Galinsky’s work depicts elements of music & culture through mixed techniques and media and on scales ranging from very small to large murals. Galinsky strives to capture the spirit of all that he loves in his work. Collaborations for Galinsky both past and present include SFJAZZ, Vans, Barney’s, Collette FR, Charles & Ray Eames Office, Ubiquity Records, Quiksilver, Levi’s, Volcom, adidas and Kia.

The Dolce is for the lighter rider gracing the mountains on the chase for some sweet carves and tasty airs. The Single Shot profile is a traditional camber that provides pop and energy for lively snowboarding. She features a directional twin shape, a full length sustainably sourced poplar wood core, a UHMW sintered base, and a glossy top sheet with matte details that makes you look good as you ride on by. The Biscotti is a buttery twin with deeper sidecut for quick response that works both in the park and on the big hill. It features a full length sustainably sourced poplar wood core with hardwood stringers, vertical carbon strips in the tip and tail for extra pop, and a UHMW hi density sintered base. Its low swing weight in the tip and tail also make it a fine rotational device. At JDM, we try not to pay too much attention to how others do it and approach things to the beat of a different drum. With embroidered script from our friend Pnut Galinsky, here we have a mid-weight, unstructured six-panel cap crafted from a blend of 50% wool and 50% recycled polyester. Features include a flat peak, adjustable metal clasp fastener, and tonal under-peak lining.
